From Mozart to Manilow to Metallica....

(Not necessarily in that order!!!)

Yes, you read that right.  My musical tastes really are that varied... I love Mozart - especially his early works and those from the middle of his life.  I also like a lot of Beethoven and Bach.  And I consider Pachebel's Canon in D to be one of my all time favorites.

The early Jackson 5, the Archies, the Osmond Brothers (yes! the Osmonds!), and Hanson - I love it all....  I even got to meet Marie Osmond!

The sounds of the 60's and 70's - from the Carpenters, to the Beatles, to Paul Revere and the Raiders, to Three Dog Night...  Some of the best music came from this era...

And hard rock and heavy metal (including the "Big Hair" days) - Bon Jovi, Van Halen, KISS, and Metallica, to name a few - you're just as likely to find these CD's in my player as you are Mozart or Donny Osmond.

As for today's music, most of the groups that I like (Creed, Savage Garden, the Backstreet Boys) seem to have disappeared. But I've become a big fan of many of the contemporary Christian artists - the Newsboys, Steven Curtis Chapman, TobyMac, Scott Krippayne.

But, if there's one performer that I will always drop everything to go see, it's Barry Manilow.

Check out my Barry page for more!
